Privacy Policy
MyPartyGames (the "App") is a collection of party games played on one phone, from one player to a whole group. It works without an account. The App itself keeps your data on your device, and the player names you enter never leave it. Only the purchase service, the ad service (free version only) and our usage-statistics and crash-report service receive some data, and the App reads a list of our other apps from our website (section 2).
1. Data that stays on your device
- Player names you enter (up to 20), shared by all games so you only type them once, and the number of players chosen on the home screen
- Your Star Candy balance (the App's in-app currency) and the games you opened with it
- Whether Premium is unlocked and which Star Candy packs have already been added
- Favourites and settings: language, dark mode, sound on or off and volume, vibration on or off
- A saved copy of the list of our other apps used for our own ads (section 2)
This data is stored only on your device and is not sent to the operator or anyone else. Player names are used only to show turns and results on the screen. Deleting the App deletes all of it, including your Star Candy balance and the games you opened (your device's own backup, such as iCloud, may include it).
2. Data sent to third parties: purchases, ads and usage statistics
Purchases: Apple, Google and RevenueCat
The App offers two in-app purchases, handled by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play: Premium (a one-time purchase) and Star Candy packs (a consumable purchase you can buy more than once). Your payment details go to the store, not to us. To confirm purchases, add the Star Candy you bought and restore Premium, the App uses RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA):
| Recipient | Country | Data | Purpose | When / how | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| RevenueCat, Inc. | USA | An anonymous ID created for purchases, the App Store or Google Play receipt and purchase records (product, date, store country and currency), device model, OS and app version, IP address | To confirm Premium and Star Candy pack purchases, add the Star Candy you bought and restore Premium | When the App starts, and when you open the purchase screen, buy or restore: sent over an encrypted connection | While needed for purchase records, or until you ask us to delete it |
This is a transfer of personal information to another country. The App checks your purchases when it starts, so the anonymous ID and device information are sent even if you never buy anything; no payment details are involved. If you do not want this, you can stop using the App and ask us to delete the data (support@mystudioapps.com). RevenueCat's privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy.
Ads: Google AdMob
The free version shows ads: a banner on the home screen and under some games, and sometimes a full-screen ad when you open a game. Ads are provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC, USA), which receives:
- Device and app information (model, OS and app version, language), IP address (from which an approximate location can be inferred)
- How you interact with ads (impressions, taps) and diagnostic data from the ad SDK
- The device advertising identifier (IDFA on iPhone, advertising ID on Android): on iPhone only if you allow tracking
Google uses this to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud. Ads are personalised only if you allow it. On iPhone, the App asks whether you allow tracking after you finish your first game, and you can change your answer any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. In the EEA and the UK, a consent screen appears first, and you can change your choice any time with "Ad privacy settings" at the bottom of the purchase screen. If you do not allow it, ads are not personalised. Premium removes ads. See how Google uses information from apps.
Ads: Unity LevelPlay and Unity Ads
The App may also get ads through Unity LevelPlay, a service that chooses which ad network fills each ad slot, and from Unity Ads (Unity Technologies, USA, and its affiliates including ironSource, Israel). Unity receives the same kinds of data listed above: device and app information, IP address, how you interact with ads, on Android information about other apps installed on the device, and the advertising identifier (on iPhone only if you allow tracking). Unity uses it to choose, show and measure ads and to prevent fraud. The same tracking and consent choices apply. When the App does not show ads (for example after a purchase that removes ads), nothing is sent to Unity. This is a transfer of personal information to another country. Unity's privacy policy: unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy.
Our own ads: the MyStudio app list
Some ad spaces show ads for our other apps instead of Google ads. For this the App downloads a list of our apps, with their icons and screenshots, from our website (mystudioapps.com/xpromo/feed.json). This is a read-only download: the App sends no personal data with it. Like any web request it carries your IP address, which our hosting provider (GitHub Pages, GitHub, Inc., USA) may keep in its server logs for security; we do not receive it. If you tap one of these ads, the App Store or Google Play opens with a tag that shows which of our apps the tap came from, so we can count taps.
Usage statistics and crash reports: Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics
To see which games are played and to fix problems, the App sends the following to Google Firebase (Google LLC, USA):
- Usage events: which screens and games you open, how long you stay and how many rounds you finish, when a round ends and how much Star Candy it gives, whether the purchase screen was viewed, Premium bought or restored, a Star Candy pack bought or a game opened with Star Candy (no payment details), and whether ads loaded and our own ads were shown or tapped
- Crash reports: the error, the app's state when it happened, device model, OS and app version
- A random app-instance identifier created by Firebase (not the advertising identifier), language, and an approximate country from the IP address
Player names, words, answers, drawings and anything else you enter in games are never sent. This data is not linked to your name or contact details and is not used for ads. Google keeps analytics data for up to 14 months and crash reports for 90 days. This is a transfer of personal information to another country; if you do not want it, you can stop using the App and ask us to delete it (support@mystudioapps.com). Firebase privacy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
3. What the App does not do
- No tracking across other companies' apps or websites unless you allow it (iPhone tracking prompt)
- No access to your camera, microphone, photos, contacts or location. Some games (for example Forehead Quiz) read the motion sensor to notice when you tilt the phone; this is used on the device only and is not recorded or sent
- Player names never leave your device
- We do not sell personal information
4. Children
The App is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. Its questions and prompts, including those in King Game, are written to be family friendly, with no alcohol or sexual content, so families can play together. Ads are not personalised unless tracking or consent is allowed. Purchases go through the store account, where parents can require approval (for example Ask to Buy).
5. Your rights and contact
You can ask us to access, correct or delete data related to your purchases or usage statistics, or to stop processing it. Data kept only on your device (section 1) is deleted when you delete the App. Contact support@mystudioapps.com. We answer within 10 days.
US state residents
If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law, such as California, you have the right to know about and access the personal information about you, to delete or correct it, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. If you allow personalised ads, the advertising identifier and other data sent to Google AdMob and Unity may count as "sharing" or targeted advertising under these laws. To opt out, on iPhone do not allow tracking in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking; on Android, delete your advertising ID in Settings › Google › Ads. If the App shows Ad privacy settings, you can also opt out there. For any other request, write to support@mystudioapps.com. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
6. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. If what the App sends changes, we will update this policy first.
