Privacy Policy
MyFidget (the "App") is a collection of fidget toys you play with on your device. It works without an account. The App itself keeps your data on your device; only the purchase service, the ad service (free version) and our usage-statistics and crash-reporting service receive some data (section 2).
1. Data that stays on your device
- Settings (language, sound and background music, night mode), favourites and the toy styles you chose
- Simple play counts shown in the App (for example today's taps)
- Whether Premium is unlocked
This data is stored only on your device and is not sent to the operator or anyone else. Deleting the App deletes it (your device's own backup, such as iCloud, may include it).
2. Data sent to third parties — purchases, ads and usage statistics
Purchases — Apple, Google and RevenueCat
Premium is a one-time purchase handled by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play. Your payment details go to the store, not to us. To confirm and restore the purchase, the App uses RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA):
| Recipient | Country | Data | Purpose | When / how | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| RevenueCat, Inc. | USA | An anonymous ID created for the purchase, the App Store or Google Play receipt (product, date, store country and currency), device model, OS and app version, IP address | To confirm and restore your Premium purchase | When you open the purchase screen, buy or restore — sent over an encrypted connection | While needed for purchase records, or until you ask us to delete it |
This is a transfer of personal information to another country. If you do not want it, do not buy or restore Premium — the free toys work without it. RevenueCat's privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy.
Ads — Google AdMob
The free version shows ads (a banner and, sometimes, a full-screen ad when you open a toy). Ads are provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC, USA), which receives:
- Device and app information (model, OS and app version, language), IP address (from which an approximate location can be inferred)
- How you interact with ads (impressions, taps) and diagnostic data from the ad SDK
- The device advertising identifier (IDFA on iPhone, advertising ID on Android) — on iPhone only if you allow tracking
Google uses this to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud. Ads are personalised only if you allow it (iPhone: the tracking prompt and Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking; in the EEA and UK: the consent screen, which you can change any time with "Ad privacy settings" at the bottom of the purchase screen). Otherwise ads are not personalised. Premium removes ads. See how Google uses information from apps.
Usage statistics and crash reports — Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics
To see which toys are used and to fix problems, the App sends the following to Google Firebase (Google LLC, USA):
- Usage events: which screens and toys you open and for how long, and whether the Premium screen was viewed and Premium bought or restored (no payment details)
- Crash reports: the error, the app's state when it happened, device model, OS and app version
- A random app-instance identifier created by Firebase (not the advertising identifier), language, and an approximate country from the IP address
This data is not linked to your name or contact details and is not used for ads. Google keeps analytics data for up to 14 months and crash reports for 90 days. This is a transfer of personal information to another country; if you do not want it, you can stop using the App and ask us to delete it (support@mystudioapps.com). Firebase privacy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
3. What the App does not do
- No tracking across other companies' apps or websites unless you allow it (iPhone tracking prompt)
- No access to your camera, microphone, photos, contacts or location
- We do not sell personal information
4. Children
The App is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. Ads are not personalised unless tracking or consent is allowed. Purchases go through the store account, where parents can require approval (for example Ask to Buy).
5. Your rights and contact
You can ask us to access, correct or delete data related to your purchase or usage statistics, or to stop processing it. Contact support@mystudioapps.com. We answer within 10 days.
6. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. If what the App sends changes, we will update this policy first.
